This course develops the student’s understanding and competence in theories and applications of ergonomics for occupational injury prevention. Emphasis is placed on research, design, and management of workplace safety. Topics include ergonomics assessment, human performance, biomechanics, work physiology, injury investigation techniques, injury controls, and writing reports.
